Awesome Japan was the worst company for Suzuki to hire. Even though it's true that the Anti-Shenmue propaganda has been having an impact on SIII funding, we cannot deny the incompetence of Awesome Japan in all of that as well. If Suzuki hired a better company, I am absolutely sure the PR (and funding) end wouldn't be so 'off'.

I don't know who to blame in this story (besides AJ). Yu made a clear mistake but before that, Awesome Japan showed experience and works in Japan despite the splatters spotted by Heath Hindman, his choice was understandable.

About firing AJ, I couldn't say more as I don't know how much Yu's loyalty is or what are the contractual conditions between YSnet and AJ.

Furthermore, notice that Kenji Itoso, the Shenmue III video director, also used Awesome Japan services for his own Kickstarter campaign before E3 2015. Yu had just a poor network (despite the Cédric's one) and I would say no luck.

Wow, that looks a lot better than I imagined it would from even the fairly impressive off-screen footage. The dust marks on the glass were a really nice touch, and the shimmering lights on the stone floor looked really natural. UE4's physically based rendering in full swing there.

Very odd the video wasn't added to the two Kickstarter updates though. Maybe we're due a surprise update on the 25th but the video went live early?

Yeh it is. Yu said at the conference that he just put her in there as fan service. She isn't actually meant to be there
As the quality is now a lot better on the video, we can see her model clearly and it looks as if they just took the Dreamcast model and textures and dumped her in there lol

Yep, weird. Maybe they planned to show in an announcement but accidentally made the video public too early, took it down, but later decided to make it public again since everyone had already seen it. I mean, the dojo had even uploaded a copy of it on its YouTube account.
