That's awesome. Shame he didn't prefer the best character he voiced, GuiZhang 8)

I'd be happy with any console, but I agree that Wii is the most likely candidate. Look at all the love SEGA's throwing Nintendo, plus cheaper dev costs, user base etc. The whole "Wii doesn't appeal to hardcore gamers" excuse is growing thin. Sales prove otherwise, with games like Red Steel...

I commented on the article. Awesome news, Alimn ;) One of my Shenmue appreciation e-mails got read out on IGN Game Scoop podcast not too long ago which was awesome. I was basically defending it after them taking the piss out of the sailors the previous week lol. They mention Shenmue a lot in that po...

One last thing... VGA, it's common knowledge that next-generation games cost a lot more to develop than last generation games. Read any interview or article on the matter. Coincidently, I was just listening to the latest IGN Wii podcast and they were talking about how lots of companies are going to...

A valid point, but Sega isn't a small studio. Surely they already have dev kits for all three platforms. If there are other reasons why the Wii might potentially be cheaper to develop for, lay them on me. It's not that I don't think it's true, but I've never seen anyone who says it would be cheaper...

You guys do realize that if Shenmue Online gets scrapped then that's more money wasted by Yu Suzuki, more bad rep for the Shenmue name and more chance of NO SHENMUE 3.

You better hope it's coming.

Shenmue sold better in the US than it did in Japan. That dude doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. He didn't look into anything, at all. He just made reference to the Kikizo rumour.

there is nothing negative about deciding you dont belive a video game will come out. and yeah it could come out, it is possibly right on its way out the door and by tommorow it will be announced its out... it could happen. and 4 asian prostotutes could in theory walk into my room right now and give...

I'll never give up, hence my title. I know how cliche it sounds, but never say never, because where's the use in being negative? No need to be over-confident, either. But I'll never count out the possibility of Shenmue III. No one should. I've seen dozens of people in the last few months on IGN prac...

It's not just the realism of Shenmue, but the pure attention to detail that makes it so pleasing to look at. It's the most detailed game ever. Not in texture quality, or in polys, but in the attention and variation of the worlds. If you look at a house in Shenmue, it looks like a real house because ...

I'd put time into making a good video if I could get my own Shenmue footage. I don't want to go around and rip Shenmue footage from other people's vids.

Lovin' them so far though, guys. Finally, my broadband has been fixed so I can actually watch them. Keep it up 8)

Biglime! There's a load of Shenmue support over at the IGN Shenmue Boards. We'll post all of the Shenmue-related things we've ever made here for your convenience. Here's some of mine: Comic based on Shenmue http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h210/lloydorient/shenmuecomic.jpg http://i65.photobucket.c...

People need to stop getting overly-excited everytime Shenmue is mentioned in the media... Why? It's cool to see Shenmue being mentioned. It's much better than not caring about it. It's not as if anyone would take such an article as confirmation of Shenmue III's release. It's just nice to know that ...
