What I'd really like to know is why and when they changed the artistic style of Shenmue II. In the early beta shots and videos Hong Kong looked really dark and desaturated. The city was run down, polluted and somewhat menacing. In the final game Hong Kong looks much nicer with all the colors, signs ...
I did realize that some of the grunts are leftovers from the Japanese dub long ago but I never noticed that they actually change throughout the course of the game. Very nice find!
Shenmue is currently in the lead with 64%. It's not too surprising if you consider the facts. Chrono Trigger was never released in Europe on the SNES, only later on the GBA so it didn't get the hype like in the states. I hope Shenmue can maintain the lead and win this round. I think the other four animal keys are simply just there to make opening the secret door a little less "straight forward". I don't think they really have any other meaning.
They were trolling. If they had anything done by that interview it would've showed up by now. Sega is either ignoring Shenmue HD for stupid reasons or they are held back because they are dealing with the license, just like I suggested as the reason why Ryo isn't in Transformed.
