I voted neither. I'm skeptical that development has lasted long enough to produce a trailer of substance. Something to satisfy us fans, but not far enough along to impress the general public.

A decade-plus of waiting has made me overly cautious regarding Shenmue 3 and being optimistic.

Certainly an odd update, not that I mind or am surprised. Don't want to tip the hand ahead of the big reveal in about a month. I'm hoping these updates hold substantially more content following the big public reveal at Playstation Experience.

I have just no interest in playing video games on the go, but I've been waiting for Nintendo to drop the gimmicks surrounding core gameplay. I'll probably end up buying this in a couple years once the price comes down. Really nothing Nintendo could do to make me turn into an early adopter.

Even if the release is December 2018 there will just be some other AAA release to compete with. If they were so concerned about having the whole spotlight they would go with a release in the middle of the year.
