There was never a better gaming moment than when I first started on Shenmue 1.Well,apart from my first experience with a game called Mario 64.You may have heard of it.....

The other day I dug out my Dreamcast so that I cold play Shemue again but it wouldn't work,goddamnit.But Shenmue 2 did work(thank god!).Anyways,a friend of mine came round who owns an X-Box(I have a Gamecube) and watched me play Shenmue 2.Now the weird thing is,is he hates games that don't have amazing graphics or lots of violence and he actually said that he is now thinking about purchasing it!?!I find this odd considering that its not the best looking game on the market and the action is quite sparse until you get to Kowloon.

Im probably going to get a lot of grief over this but what the hell.....
To me the sonic games have been average ever since Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast,this is because the atmosphere was lost when they decided to add the 'cool' voiceovers and the awful music.The Sonic games of the 2D age were amazing,espescially Sonic 3 and Knuckles but now they are a shadow of their former self.I used to buy every Sonic game but now I dont bother as they have not managed to convert it successfully into 3D and still not got rid of the DAMN VOICES AND SHIT MUSIC!!!!For me Im gonna stick with Mario.

I read NGC and they've given it a moderte review,so Im not going to bother.To be honest,Im not a massive EA fan,most of their games lack any real substance and they seem like games that are produced for the masses ie. 'The Playstation Generation'.For me,a game HAS to score 85% or more in NGC or else I wont buy it.Those guys in that mag know what they're on about.I made the mistake of buying FIFA 2004 thinking that it will be just a little bit behind Pro Evolution Soccer (as its not available on GC in the UK) and it was crap.So now,unless a game is AMAZING,then I wont bother with anything that EA produce.

I dont really hate the ending but I can see where a lot of you are coming from.Myself,I thought it was a good way to wind down,you had a feeling that something was gonna happen.Personally,I was more peeved off with the ending to Shenmue 1 but thats just a matter of opinion.
