Thats the first time me seeing that demo so thanks for that. I could see the possibility of Suzuki having a hand in that demo, definitely. Curious who actually made it.
mynintendonews.com seems to think it's Epic Games who are responsible for the Japanese Garden Wii U Demo... http://mynintendonews.com/2012/02/23/epic-games-says-gdc-2012-unreal-engine-demos-shall-have-you-gasping/
The link is of a slightly different showing of the demo, showing the interaction of the controller within it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2Nsa06KRLo
I was very interested by the tech demo at the end of your last link
Both Reggie and the interviewer have a little joke while asking if this is a retro tech demo and he also gets asked who is the developer and Reggie smiles and says "im not gonna say..im not gonna say"
Well I just beat The Longest Journey for the second time and I love this song, it's a reminder of the great journey you've just had. The epilogue even makes me tear up a little... in a good way though. When April and Crow are sitting around to tell another story in their old age, remembering the great adventures they've had. It's all very romantic and grand and I love it. Time to play Dreamfall.
Fuck. Must have been about 12 at the time... Driving through Staunton island running over peds with this blaring out my old shitty TV. Unforgettable experience.
Alex Ferguson ranting after drawing with Swansea, then bitching about how Van Persie "could have been killed" after being hit on the head with a football. He seemed pretty OK, what with jumping up and grabbing the guy by the throat and all that.
Why won't that cunt just shut up? It makes me ashamed that that bitter wanker is also Scottish. :(
I think the game is underrated. It may not be the craziest thing gameplay or storywise but it has some emotional moments, like waterside playing when the girl is about to jump off the cliff. I think its the best Dragon Quest game since 8.
