Retro Studio's next game to be revealed not to distant future.
They were supposed to show off last year but cancelled last minute at E3 so Nintendo filed that time with Nintendurlandz.


Given the clue they gave last year I still believe a new Star Fox. Metroid was out of action for a while til they did it. Donky Kong Country was out of action for a while til they did it. Well Might be Fox Mclouds turn. Think they said something to the effect we did Donkey Kong now prepare for a different kind of Barrel Roll. They said something to that effect.

I would like that new game (from Retro Studio) to be "Diddy's Kong Quest Returns". Diddy's Kong Quest on SNES is my favorite Donkey Kong game.

[I own Donkey Kong Returns on Wii, and if Diddy's will be the new game, I would like it to be not just for the new console of Nintendo (that is, Wii U, which I do not own), but also for its predecessor (that is, Wii), so I may able to get that, too...]

Madden skipping Wii U. Something is very wrong when you can't even get Madden.

I think it has to do with their "AMAZING! l33t" Physics engine. Well the other half of that is Nintendo has a pretty strict policy on online.

Ever notice theres no "online pass" dlc on WiiU?

granted theres also missing DLC (which is incredibly dumb considering the structure of the eshop)

No matter the reason it hurts the system. Last time EA abandoned a system was DC and really hurt Sega.
I know it's early but this kinda sends the system in the red.

MGS4 would have needed 7 DVD's which is why it will never come to the 360, But it may come to the new console.

Didn't need 7 DVD's. BS Math does not add up. Also It was just because Kojima didn't want to compress the audio. He could have put the game on 2.

Remember when Square ran the whole "If FF7 was on the N64, it would cost $1400" ad when they defected to sony? Low and behold, Capcom fit multiple playstation discs of Resident Evil 2 FMV on ONE N64 cart.

Two RE discs vs the three for FF7. And from what I played, the FMVs were pretty compressed so they looked like crap.

So with the inclusion of the expansion pak, it might've taken two carts to put the whole game as it was released unless they decided to take stuff out. Either way, going PC and PSone was the best option.

Due to this problem, Kojima and his team have re-programmed the entire game, and will release a free PlayStation 3 patch that should fix the problem and greatly enhance its performance. There won’t be a patch for the Xbox 360 version for the time being.
