I never 100% got over buying ToeJam & Earl III to play on my 360 and finding it absent from the backwards compatibility list.

Never played the first or third, but Panic on Funkatron is excellent. Great sense of humor, fantastic graphics, and fun co-op gameplay. It's nostalgic for me, but it's a legitimately good game either way.
I'd be worried about a revamp of some sort just because I imagine they'd probably end up filling it with references to modern hip hop, alter the style to be closer to now, all that. That would kill my interest. But if they played it as a legitimate ode to the time the first two games came out, make it filled with funky fresh (that's right, I just said funky fresh) early-90s hip hop style, sort of a Fresh Prince with aliens thing... I'm there.

The first was one of the only randomly generated level games that actually worked IMO. Usually I find them bland, but TJ&E is truly fun each time you play. Never played 2 or 3, but I would really like to try them. Not sure if the games would do well nowadays. But a full HD re-release couldn't hurt.

Oh, and Ready, Aim, Tomato was fun.

The first game would probably be a hard sell today due to its graphics and slow pace (not a criticism from my point of view, just thinking of younger gamers who probably aren't as open minded towards 16-bit curiosities), but I think the first sequel would hold up very well with a new audience. I can't comment on number 3 for aforementioned, heartbreaking reasons.

I picked these up on the Xbox live arcade. The first game is still fun, while the 2nd game is nothing short of atrocious. Especially 2 player mode. I liked it when I was like 8 but now it is almost unplayable.
