Just got these at the latest games convention I went to:
So, so happy I got King's Field on PSX since it's so freaking hard to get ahold of. It's always sold out on Amazon, I think we only got an extremely limited print run over here. The first ever From Software game to get localization and a very early game in the PSX library. Can't say I'll be too surprised if it's awesome, despite its age.
Odama was actually one I had never heard of before but when I read the back and it said it was a "Strategy/War Simulation/Pinball" game hybrid I was like, well, that's different and it was a low price point, so the risk is well worth it. Sometimes these experimental games blow me away, especially ones I had never heard of/know very little about.
Mega Man X Command Mission is one I've wanted for a while now, never been a huge fan of Mega Man, but I do like the games in the series that experiment with the formula a bit and this looked very interesting. It's also by the Breath of Fire team and director/writer, so visually it is rather similar to Breath of Fire V, I think it could have been made on the same engine. Interested to see how the battle system plays out in this one. What with a lot of the games in the series relying on action gameplay.
7 Blades was always a Konami game that eluded me. Made at a time when they could do no wrong, this was a launch PS2 game and it's basically a hack 'n slash action game set in Feudal Japan, which I haven't played any of in a long time now, so figured it was good as a time as any to pick this up, especially at such a cheap price.
