Indeed, Ryan; the demo was awesome but it was too much of a teaser.

And SC, bang on; a Cyberpunk RGG would be just absolutely awesome! They could milk Kiryu's character and Takaya Kuroda for one more game, too.

Anyone else think his little "rev-up" into a run looks awfully strange for someone who's supposed to be the fucking Dragon of Dojima, eminent badass of Kamurocho?
He looks funny during fights, all flapping his arms around as fast as he can.

I love how alive they've made the city feel in it. Can't wait for the 2020s to be able to play it in English lol

I didn't know about the first-person exploration mode till now. Some rather noticeable texture pop-up, but is this the finished product or just preview code?

And play Virtua Fighter 5 (that was 5, wasn't it?) at the arcade, and dodge giant sharks.. maybe I'll delve deeper into the side activities of future Yakuza games. So far I avoided that stuff.

Tell me you're only talking about bowling and fishing, etc, and not the actual side quests?

I skipped everything I could. I played 3, 4 and 5, and I gotta say that I liked the games, but I never really fell in love. The gameplay and most other technical aspects felt outdated everytime and many of the endless dialogues were a chore to me, so I couldn't be bothered and simply took the quickest route possible through the main story. I don't mean to downtalk the series or hurt any feelings here :p, it's just my personal way of yakuza-ing through these games. So far, at least. Maybe something about Yakuza somehow still hasn't clicked with me yet. I feel positive about Zero and 6 though.

To each their own, but I feel like you're playing Tetris without being told you can clear more than one row at a time. The deeper you delve into Yakuza, the more moves and experience points you'll earn, making the action progressively more entertaining.

I won't say you're doing it "wrong," as games are there to be enjoyed however you see fit. However, if you hate sitting through dialog and don't want to expand your arsenal beyond a few core combos, then you might be even happier playing Dynasty Warriors? :D

Yeah no, I get it. I guess I did play the games wrong (I noticed a lack of variety in special moves and wished for more everytime), but I just couldn't get myself to play them the right way. Maybe when Zero comes out.

I don't think Dynasty Warriors is for me, and my backlog is big enough anyway, but thanks for the recommendation!
