All i have to say is wow.....soulcalibur 2 surpasses the fighting genre once again. What soulcalibur did in gameplay and quality, Soulcalibur 2 took it to another level.. just listen to my little review:.............Dear soulcalibur, I'm sorry it had to be like this, but I've met someone else. What you and I had will always be special, but I need some room to grow and find myself. The new love of my life gives me Joy in so many ways. She let's me realize my potential in "weapon master mode",...Which is the most fun I've had by myself since I was 13. She also reminds me alot of myself. That's how cool her A.I. is... call me shallow, but she is as beautiful as the sun on the morning dew. I think, the thing i like best about her,though, is that she's deep. Really deep...Her name is "Soulcalibur 2" :lol:

......and i'm afraid she's irresistible.Cyaaaa.! lol.hehe :roll:

VF:E >> SC2 in my opinion.

VF is for the hard-core, and the martial arts styles are very well represented too.
Akira's Baji-Quan looks genuine, from the punches to the shoulder rams. VF is simply the 100% best, plus it's made by YS.

uh yeah i moved it.. lol. And just so noone thinks that i dont know if sc 2 is out... i said that as sc 2 should be on it's home.. the DC.

i agree with oyu there... really.. even graphically.. i think dc .. while not getting as such beauty like xbox's version.. but surely as much as ps2's.. it should have come out for dc.. i mean.. this game is more like a SC1.5 or so.. than a SC2.. not a real evolution..

I haven't played SC2 yet but I would rather prefer VF4:Evo. I mean fighting wise, it's truly the best in any fighting game so far. Not to mention it's made by THE man. I'm not saying SC2 is crap not at all, it looks fantastic but VF4:Evo is a deeper game.

Virtua Fighter is for the serious beat-em-up gamer... Soul Calibur is for the casual gamer... as far as beat-em-up's go.. i fall into the casual gamer category... i may well buy soul calibur..

If you played weapon master mode through to the end you would know just how small a distance button mashing would take you. Soul calibur isn't Dead or Alive! You can't just button mash your way to victory, as sooner or later a player worth his salt will be guard-impacting and parrying you like crazy.
