Hmm, This is by far, one of the craziest things i have heard. If the kid chooses not to do work, then, let him play games, and make him/her suffer by having to stay in school for another year cause of lack of homework. I personally, would give it some type of electrical surge so it wont work anymore....

Well..In Norway you will never go a year again, you'll just continue no matter how much you suck at school, even if all of your grades are crap.
The schoolsystem here are not working at all that way, so i guess that if playing games screwed your grades then it would be a good idea, so u don't finish school as an idiot, knowing more when u started then when u quit it...
But it's not that a good idea, parents usually have some control on their kids anyway
