I sure wish these CE's would come in a sturdier case. If you're paying a premium for posterity you don't want some lame cardboard box that will get mangled and dented. (I can't even open them up without denting the middle of the insert tab) Even the plastic the regular versions of games come in are sturdier than CE's.

Haven't looked through it extensively, but I liked the little bit in the introduction for the book that says to gaze into the jewel on the front of the book; if your image appears upside-down (which of course it does) then you have a natural propensity toward magic.
Such a simple little thing, but it almost immediately made me feel drawn into the game... and I haven't even put the game into my PS3 yet.

Just had my first boss fight. One of the ones from the demo. Beginning really pulled my heart strings and hit close to home. Different game but feel this might end up being the Earthbound for this era.

Been playing the game with the wife and its going simply wonderful. She loves it just as well as any ghibli movie. Especially for the fact some of the Japanese voice actors being used are from other ghibli movies. Drippy is fantastic with his osaka accent.
The game itself is so smooth in its presentation on all fronts. I can see myself going for a platinum trophy in this which I hardly ever attempt to do. It just seems like a game you invest fully in because it would be a shame and a waste to not do so.

Make no mistake, I don't think it is boring, or stupid. I just think there should be more room for exploration instead of being walked through everything, it goes on for hours and still not everything is explained in terms of how things works, in fact, incorporating timing is introduced a bit later than I'd imagine it should have been.

The game is beautiful, and the story is intriguing. if not a bit cliched, so far. Does that make the game any less good? In my opinion, no it doesn't.

Though to be honest, this is all mainly jibbergabber as I don't have a PS3, nor do I have the game. I've been watching 3 LPS of the game, and as it is, if I were playing I'd want the explaining, outside of the story to move a bit faster.

While playing the game I have actually had the Wizards Book in my lap and usig it every step of the way. This is total immersion for me in the most wonderful way. In a sense it's almost like The Never ending Story and I am Sebastian.

S Tree im not quite sure what you're talking about and what videos you're watching. The game opens up to the over world with exploration, side quests and main story like less than 1 hour into playing. By far less linear than alot of games out there. For example I could be focusing on the main quest right now but im choosing to just do side quests and bounties. I think its best you just go spend ~$300 right now on a PS3 and the game and enjoy watching yourself play it. And if you dont have the money, go work the corner like a good lad. Take one for the team.
