Music is so fantastic. Wayforward known for Shante and 2D games esp the excellent A Boy and His Blob on Wii. Well they done it again. A fantastic retro styles puzzle platformer in Mighty Switch Force. yes I gave in and downloaded it for 6$ on 3DS. IMO best game on 3DS I have played. Granted not played many yet but this is fantastic with great music that takes me back to the 16 bit era

Well I just beat The Longest Journey for the second time and I love this song, it's a reminder of the great journey you've just had. The epilogue even makes me tear up a little... in a good way though.
When April and Crow are sitting around to tell another story in their old age, remembering the great adventures they've had. It's all very romantic and grand and I love it.
Time to play Dreamfall.

Always thought that looked cool when I was a kid, but never got to try it. May need to.

Wow... looking up some stuff on Outcast just now, and it's amazing how much that brought me back to my good old PC days during the 90s. Games just felt different on PC back then. Nowadays, most things are leveled-out for play on both consoles and PC, so there's a similar feeling no matter what you're looking at (unless it happens to be PC-only, which the sort of "upper scale" games rarely are anymore).
But man... regardless of the varying quality of them, games like Thief, Messiah, Alice, and the original Half-Life all share a special place for me. I wish Outcast would have been in there too. I'm feeling more and more tempted to order a copy from that Amazon link right now.
Not very "PC gaming-savvy" nowadays, but hopefully it'd be able to run on my computer without too much extra work. Trying to get Thief to run properly within the past year was hell, and Thief 2 just wouldn't work.

Oh, and just to actually add to the topic:

This just worked for the mission it happens in. Kind of wish there were more instances of licensed music used during missions.
