Generally for me it's always be a nintendo console and either a microsoft or sony console. If microsoft doesn't change my view on the ps4, it looks like the ps4 will be my standard console this generation

Might not be out in 2013 in Europe. No shocker. However still ties in with PSP,PS3,PSvita all having launch delays so maybe PS3 will have one all around. Who knows. I would like to have one full year out of my PS3 please before being old hat

All that says is they have the ability carry them over by streaming them. Which was already known. Now is the question of if they will honor the purchases of said games. Which they said they can..but will they?
Not the best conditions with streaming to do it obviously but im sure after we all learned we wont be able to have hardware BC we will all keep our PS3's and 2's.

Im still on a high that it will play discs and used ones too lol.. That sony.. You guys could have really screwed the pooch there. Crisis mode aborted.

No what was already known is streaminf PS3 retail games. This is PSN games purchased on PS3.

Yup. And they said they have the ability to honor purchases for a redownload/stream. So lets hope they do.

It sounds like the door isn't necessarily closed on locking out used games. More like the buck has been passed and left in another court. Sony is just saying they themselves are not making a centralized push to make every title on the console do it. Publishers it sounds like could still lock out their games from being played second hand ala EA code if they opted to. I remember a similar situation arising from HDCP and Bluray. Sony themselves didn't mandate hdcp on their bluray titles, but others were free to block you out from seeing their movies on older hdtv's without hdmi out if they wanted.

Bayonetta 2? Gah if I can save up by this holiday then just might as well get Rayman 2 on it. I just will say right now there is nothing on the system out now I want. At least not anything I already have or can get on a console I have now.

X is the killer app in my eye but more likely a year or more off.

I'm gunna really need to stretch monster hunter 3. I mean theres literally a 4 month period where nothing is coming out. so hopefully e3 has tons of "did shit is comin out" in general.

The rest of my gaming year is on Vita and 3DS. I think I'm done buying 360 games in general and I'm kind of wary buying anything for ps3 considering whats being said about the 4 (plus most stuff is being released on vita)

One thing I will never say again..or at least personally I should never say again "done buying games for console X" because it never ends up being true. Even if a long hiatus I still end up at some point buying something for it
