Too late. I already have both the US and the Japanese versions of Gungriffon, the US version of Gungriffon Blaze on PS2, and Gungriffon: Allied Strike for Xbox. Planning on getting Gungriffon II as well, which only came out in Japan.
Sorry. :P
Was going to post my new Saturn buys once another one gets here in the mail, so I hadn't done it yet.

On that note, the soundtrack for Blaze is frickin' great. Can't get enough of this kind of melodic videogame metal.
Just fantastic stuff. Worthy of a Guilty Gear soundtrack.

I never tire of this soundtrack. I'll randomly hear it or think of it every so often, and every single time I get that urge to play the game again.
So glad I bought the Digital Devil Sage 1+2 collected soundtrack years back. Still some of my favorite videogame music of all time.

Terrible game imo. The one thing this game did perfect is one of the most awesome OST's on Genesis.
I'd play the bad game just for the great music. That's how awesome I think the OST is.

Good god, I loves me some Hokuto Musou music.
Ken's Rage 2 has much of the same soundtrack as the first game apparently, but also a number of new compositions to accommodate the new story scenarios. And goddamn, is it ever great.
Shocked that I haven't seen a soundtrack release for it yet on the Japanese cd site I frequent.

Randomly popped Ridge Racer 4 in and played for a few minutes today. The soundtrack just made the memories come flooding back. I love how it features fast beats in practically every song, but there's always an inherent smoothness to it as well.
Such great racing music. Freakin love Ridge Racer.

Fuck me the entire OST is fantastic. So might have to post a few more later.
Does not get more SEGA 90's than this. While not this track some tunes have a great synth guitar that reminds me so much of the song when Ryo is racing to save Nozomi. I did not care for VF3 all that much but didn't dislike it either. Played VF5 only once on release. They just don't feel as awesome as this anymore IMO.

I love the music in Land of Illusion and considering that it is a SMS game makes it no mean feat. This particular tune just seems to come at the right moment of the game, it is an uplifting tune that kind of inspires you to defeat one of the more tougher stages in the game.

It's hard not to love the Fire Emblem theme but this is one of my favorite versions of it.

Awesome. Also for some reason can see it as a mid 90's song for some WCW Wrestler.vgfzsa

Fire Emblem:Seisen no Keifu (Genealogy of the Holy War) and Thracia 776 are connected and both games are very very very very dark. Evey theme in the game has a certain dark edge to it. Demonology, rape, incest, sacrifice, destruction, genocide. They are some of the darkest games I've played in general, and the music really pushes that idea even when you're in the middle of a winning battle.
