What is the longest you've waited for a game?

I am still waiting for Half-Life 3. Since Shenmue 3 was confirmed last E3 my desire towards the third Half-Life is more than ever at this point but I know it's unlikely to ever see it happen.

Whoa, is Half-Life 3 really not going to be made!?

The writer, Marc Laidlaw (not the same guy who lead the Policenauts translation team), quit within the last 6 months. He claims to know nothing of Valve's plans for the series.

Panzer Dragoon Orta in 2002 to... who knows. I believe a Sega employee stated recently that a new PD wouldn't sell, but I'll continue to hold out hope for a new entry in my favourite franchise besides Shenmue.
