I admit I traded in some other games to get those. Most of them were not good games but I did trade in Ninja Gaiden for the NES with it's book for 5$ and Mega Man X (yes Bluecast, sue me) for 10$ and Double Dragon.

Lemme see if I can remember the rest.

Sonic Mega Collection Plus for Xbox for 10$ (No reason to keep that I have the newer collection now)
California Games NES
Kings of the Beach NES
Rocket Ranger with book NES
Al Unser Jr.'s Turbo Racing NES
Michael Andretti's World GP NES
Platoon NES
Robocop with it's book NES
Lamborghini American Challenge SNES
Rocko's Modern Life Spunky SNES
Family Feud SNES

So as you can see a lot of crap (to me anyway), I got 15$ for all those. I think that was all maybe I am forgetting one or two but it's nothing much I am forgetting.

I liked it too but its so out of date. You have to think like its 1993 half the time. And the music grates my soul.

Yeah, probably my only regret in that crop of games. Even more so than Ninja Gaiden  .

One thing I don't like this generation is all the "editions". I find myself rarely picking up the big AAA titles when they debut now because I'm always waiting for the inevitable "Ultimate Edition/Enhanced Edition/GOTY Edition" ect. to come out a year later. If others share my mentality, I doubt it bodes well for sales in the industry.

Thats actually a really bad example to use tho, before the enhanced edition it wasn't available on 360 and people who bought the PC version got all the content and changes that are in the enhanced edition for free and got an instant upgrade the day the 360 version was released.

Its actually more of a western thing, more specifically with PC games and its been happened for a long time, theres always been "GOLD" or "Complete" editions for games like Neverwinter knights, gothic, sacred, even thief.

I do agree though its not a very good practice unless done the way CD Red Projekt did it. Then again its those AAA games that pull in so much market share, so a large group of people are buying them day 1. Then again, REORC made Capcom the majority of its profits by selling a ton of tacked on disc based DLC and 2 millions copies of the base game despite never getting updates to fix game crashing bugs, so its hard to believe consumers really care about fairness or quality.

:(

And they make it so Asura's Wrath doesn't even have a proper ending without DLC.
