I personally dont like the 1-10 or 0-100% scale. Its pointless to have the range that high when anything below 60% or a 6 is considerd sub par or poor.
Id appriciate more 1-5 scales and labels such as "pass" "rent" "buy". Its just more practical to real life judgement. Nobdy really cares about .5% of differences just if the game is worth your time and money.

Just played Journey and all I can say is wow. Not played a game for awhile but fancied something so figured it would be a quick blast. I don't want to say a single thing about it as it can spoil the impact it has but seriously everyone should give it a go.

Turn the lights off, sit in an empty room for 2 hours and enjoy.

^^Been wanting to try it. Really no reason not to, since the collection it comes in is just 30 bucks, so I might have a go at it soon. Demo was pretty nice.

Really Enjoying Gravity Rush. I don't know what I am doing but like it.

I played the demo of Retro City Rampage. Fucking christ this guy put a lot of work into it. 1 guy did this and only took him like 8 years. This is amazing. I think I have to buy it to show that guy support. Been a long time since I seen a game with so much detail and so much work. Not to mention the great tributes.

That's funny- I just started playing it tonight. Love the music and the atmosphere.

And yes, the first thing I did was lower the lights.

Yeah, wish I had a TV and a PS3 just for that game. And NMH Paradise. And Heavy Rain.

When one of you's get the game tell me when your playing it and we can try and play together. Sadly I went through the whole thing solo but still loved it.

Has Gravity Rush been selling decent? Be a shame it didn't get a follow up. Only a few hours in but amazing so far.

There's nothing I like better than great art and a great detective story. Rakim just told me about these games (Thanks!). I wish I knew Japanese.

I wish they were translated... There simply aren't enough detective games out there. My ultimate game would be a detective/stealth game, and as much as I love the shit out of them, the Arkham games were not this, sadly. Although they shoulda been really. Fucking Paul Overrated Dini...

You're probably already aware, but just in case you aren't, there is one game in English on the DS, renamed Jake Hunter. It's localized to change a bunch of names in it (sort of like the Phoenix Wright games) but otherwise everything is intact.

Oh, me too! The best part of Shenmue 2 was all the investigative work in Kowloon, and stealthily following Yuan. A full-on detective adventure game - more, a detective sim - would be incredible. I mean, all open investigation and stealth in a big city, with all the noir atmosphere... I can't believe it hasn't been done. You're right; there is not nearly enough detective games out there.

Definitely going to look into Jake Hunter, even though it seems to lack the stealth/rare action aspect.
