I liked it but I don't recommend paying full price for it, from the sound of things it'll drop pretty quick.

Do i get DmC now or wait until its a fiver in the bargain bin?
I'll be honest, i don't like the look of the characters right now. The actual gameplay might still be fun however. Anyone played it?

Well it's sales are anything to go by it will have a big price drop soon.

It's just not doing so well

Around 800k in less than a month is not terrible and thats not including PC sales. Yes its price will go down but all games do that now days after a couple months apart from a small few.

I think thats the biggest shame in all of this. Companies do a lot of underhanded things for the sake of making money, but still end up not making anywhere near enough. It should have launched at 30, and for that much everyone could jump into it, if it wasen't 60$ I'd recommend it to everybody. Then again it also shouldn't have been called devil may cry. The vast majority of Heavenly Sword and Enslaved sales were after their price drops. (which is actually pretty common)

Then again its partly consumers fault that both of those things didn't happen. Looking at how RE:ORC sold on brand alone was pretty terrifying, and generally a lower price point is seen as being "budget". If something is lower then average MSRP in games its assumed it isn't up to a standard.

(I don't think MGR is worth 60$ either)

Funny looking at user comments about the DLC Vergil's Downfall and people are saying he should have been the main games character and it plays like it was made by a different team.
