Yeah, at the end of the day, Super Mario World is better than any of Sonic's offerings, but that doesn't mean the Sonic games were bad. Just wayyy overrated (I still don't understand how people think that Sonic Adventure 2 was any good or that Sonic 1 on the MD's one of the greatest games ever)

I must say, I loved the first Jak and Daxter but this second one is getting on my nerves. These driving (hoover cars) missions can go fuck themselves, I hate them so much. I like the rest of the game but this aspect of it makes it so much less enjoyable.

Even when its not a mission it can be a bitch to get around in them.

^^I thought the same. It took me a long while to get fully used to the hoverbikes. If I remember right, you have to get used to tilting and turning pretty long before the place you actually want to turn at... it's been a while, but I remember it eventually getting to be easy. Just practice a bit outside of missions.

It doesn't help when the damn Krimzon Guards are shooting at you the whole time either.

FINALLY. I had to try like 30 times to get this mission done. I was cursing the whole time. This mission called Shuttle Underground Fighters. One super annoying thing was it could only be a two seated hover you could use so if there were not any nearby when yours blew up or was too damaged then you were screwed. And the whole time it was getting damaged by the guards shooting at you. And the last guy you have to shuttle goes to the part of the city that is built on water so everytime i got to the end I crashed in the water and the guy I was escorting died.

Fable The Journey. Slow starter but its picking up now.

Just beat Alan Wake: American Nightmare. Pretty cool but it repeats itself to much. The original game was one of my favorites to come out this gen so I hope we see more of Alan Wake maybe next gen.

Also Sam Lake is a genius at writing.

Oh I went there on vacation this past summer just for fun. I guess I mentioned that here. Hung out with Yama abit, some family and just did abunch of touristy stuff with my wife there, boston and D.C. Was fun.

Started playing Devil May Cry 2. As Dante.

Started AC3 and Virtue's Last Reward. Both are, so far, exactly what I was expecting, which is nothing but great.

Finished Fable The Journey today. Games about 8 hours long and yet to do Arcade mode[just replays the combat sections]

Starts off slow but does a good job at talking about past heroes and actually gives Fable a decent back story and shows that Lionhead can do a good story when they actually try.
But it became clear what they were going to do at the end and it came off weak and pointless and the lack of an actual end of game boss fight[again Lionhead! ] was another disappointment.

For most the time Kinect works fine and its nice being able to play while seated [think only 3 Kinect games allow this] but still much better after the disappointment that was Fable III.
