I beat Saints Row 3 yesterday (got it in the THQ Humble Bundle a couple of weeks ago). I had a lot of fun with it and since the last GTA-style game I played was Vice City years ago, the gameplay didn't feel stale to me.

I'm either going to play Psychonauts or Darksiders 2 next.

I couldn't really get into 3 because too much of what made 1 and 2 fun was cut.

Like 3 days ago, i started to play Chrono trigger in my snes. All i have to say is, Woow!!!

Never heard of him or that game.



Darksiders, Its okay but so far nothing special.

I've just started playing Psychonauts. I haven't done much story wise other than the opening boot camp level. I've mainly just been exploring the camp and collecting fragments/psi cards.

Yeah, that's how I felt about it too. I got it free from being a PS+ subscriber and didn't think much of it.

I finally finished SMT3: Nocturne last night after so long (kept dying against a boss, left it in the backlog for a while). Really wonderful game, one of the best RPG games I've ever played, no doubt. Final play time was 78:47

Started playing Persona 3 Portable three days ago and it is incredibly good. Atlus games are so good man, damn.

I like adventure time its a good enough show, but when a game come out I figured it just be a licensed game.

since i have it on pc now i decided to give it a go and as i kept raising the standards I didn't see any performance dips at all.

In terms of what makes it fun, I'd like to know what it is that got taken out, because really it was all content, gameplay wise everything got better. like instead of starting chase missions from the mission marker you start at the car. Also aren't forced to play missions, you can just do the story and take over the town later.

Me and Joka had it out once and we both had good points. He's completely right that in terms of raw content Saint's row 3 is lacking hardcore compared to 2 but even he had to admit that as a game meant to be played 3 was soooo much smoother.

Still doing Folklore but its been slow going. Didn't play any games the 23rd. Only showed my uncle a game real quick the 24th. No games Christmas. Yesterday I got back to it and I really like it a lot. Been playing some Civilization IV also.

Gonna play Sonic Generations for the first time tonight after owning the thing for like what, a year? However long I had it.

I'll also try Red Dead Redemption which I bought at launch but never even got as far as booting up the main title screen (holy shit, I checked and that's nearly three years!)

playing Skies of Arcadia Legends, haven't played this game in 10 years, I forgot the amount of content it had

I've been playing Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. I generally suck at it, but I still have had a lot of fun.
