I'm pretty impressed with Beyond Two Souls. I thought it'd be a total bust but it's surprisingly moving in some parts.

I still have my reservations with some of the decisions made here. Like when the choices come in, I try and hide the fact Jodie has superpowers...but by the end of the scene, they all act like she's been talking about it all along. Inconsistencies like that really bring it down for me. I also don't really like how they handled the non-linear narrative, it seems REALLY sloppy and random how you just from past, present, and future.

But despite that, it definitely got better as it went on. I didn't buy Ellen Page as an action hero at first, but they made it work here somehow.

This game is tedious as FUCK. I thought the idea of playing an immortal disembodied person would be cool but it's fucking annoying. It's too easy to fall apart and it's too easy for enemies to gang up on you, it becomes a giant headache after awhile.

Onimusha 2 with my brother

So far I'm definitely not liking it as much as the first one. Most of the enemies are incredibly tedious to fight and they never stop! ... and Oh my gosh is that boss fight in the mist forest annoying. I can hit him a couple times before he starts dashing all around through the leaves. I'm currently "stuck" on the ugly demon girl with the umbrella -- I don't have any herbs/medicine left and I just needed a break because it was starting to stress me out.

Also, not really a fan of the town that I have to keep going back to... and this whole gift giving thing. Also why is this gun wielding fellow such a jerk. He asks for history books, I give him history books, and he complains that he doesn't have them all and it would be nice to read them all at once... geez. ungrateful.

I'm enjoying myself enough to continue playing but man is it sort of annoying sometimes.

My schedule has cleared now I've finished with Batman. Just trying I get hold of a PS2 and cables and I'll be ready to start Yakuza for the first time..

And it was glorious.

I've not finished the first game yet, I'm on chapter 10. But I'll be jumping straight into Yakuza 2 when I've finished with it

Walking Dead (Vita)

Looks so good on the Vita screen. Can't beat it too, free DLC and a $25 physical copy.

Jumped into Yakuza 2 literally inside two hours of completing the first game. Oddly the PAL version seems to be 60Hz only. It runs at 480i maximum. On the 50Hz setting, it'll at 576i but with terrible interlacing/ghosting. Unplayable to be honest.

I managed to tweak my TV to run on 'Full' mode with the game set at widescreen. Before I did this, the subtitles would cut across the bottom of the screen. In some cases only showing half of any dialogue subtitles.

Very initial impressions are already the game looks so much better and runs a lot faster. Speed of combat and its fluidity is much improved almost to how it is on PS3. Also returning to Japanese speech with English subs is probably the games killer feature. I really wasn't a fan of American Kiryu. But on that note its a small shame he's still referred to by first name in the subtitles whilst being called Kiryu on screen.

I definitely plan to spend more time on Yakuza 2 with substories etc. Best of all, I get to explore Osaka for the first time!

The Deadpool game.

So far I don't like the combat, it's way too slow and clunky. I like the humorous thing they got going here but it's more amusing than laugh out loud funny.

Killzone: Shadow Fall (PS4)
The graphics are brilliant. Lighting is insane. Sound effects from the guns are addicting to hear.
Forza 5 (XBO) Its the best racing game ever made. Period. They just need to release more tracks though.

Both are shit games! Dont buy them! Or either new system! Just downgrade to a PS1 and play FF7 until you can predict the onset of every random battle. Then you will achieve enlightenment.
