Big news I didn't realize till now.

Sora no Kiseki FC is being released in March (So I'm buying a bunch of 3DS games and 1 PSP game)

I bother to mention this, especially in the Ys thread because Legend of Heroes is Ys' sister series, they've been going for almost as long and share a lot of ideas and mechanics despite the fact that Legend of Heroes is turn based. Legend of Heroes 6 (Sra no kiseki/trails in the sky) is the Legend of heroes equivalent to Ark of Napishtim, it totally turned changed the series. The 2nd chapter of Sora no kiseki was also the first 2 UMD game. I guess what I'm trying to say is

buy it, because if you don't, Adol will cry.

I'm going to start with this series next year. It sort of got left behind because loads of other games caught my fancy, but I love old school adventure games like these, I just don't play enough of them. Is VII for PSP a good starting point? Hearing all the positivity makes it sound all the more appealing.

I'm not sure of Europe but Ys 1&2 is coming out for PSP in feb. I'd say grab that instead.

I think The series is due for another play since I got a Japanese PS2, might try and grab 3,4 ad 5 but for now, Ys7 all ovah meself.

Which reminds me, its too bad the story was so shallow in that game, because the battle system was pretty much perfect.

The SEVEN and Felghana limited edition boxes fit together to make a picture on their spines, and there's a piece leading into what should have been the 1&2 box...
So my collection is going to look incomplete on my shelf?!

The normal edition boxes have the little logo on the side. the big outer cardboard box only has Dogi, Adol and Terra on one side and just black on the other.

My oath in Felghana SE box is under the tree so I can't check that one.
