Yea but even big companies like Firefox don't have 64 bit programs. A majority of console games are developed in an 86 environment, most of the tools are even 86 based (I don't think Unity had a 64 version)

thats still alittle ways off before it becomes a true standard.

I suppose, I just got the feeling that this new gen would be almost twice as long as the current one, so there's a certain level of "future-proofing" that would need to be implemented. Still though, quite happy about the announced specs. Just hoping that, like Spence said, MS overtake Sony in that department, coz I'll likely be getting the new Xbox first. Especially that new Kinect. I just hope you can buy em separately and that they're PC compatible.
