According to the seller, they are getting their stock directly from Namco.Maybe that explains why many aren't going to be getting their wizard editions.

Ryudo wrote: I got off the phone with NAMCO as I called the number on the credit card charge. Got a hold of a rep who said whoever gave me that info was wrong. Transferred me to the company that is shipping them. He told me as the rep said that whoever gave me that info was wrong and my order is being processed and should ship within a few days, when it does I will get a email. So since last night I was the victim of some idiot and the website giving conflicting messages.

Not to burst your bubble or anything blue, but you should make absolutely sure that you're getting your WE.I'm at the namco forums reading replies and they are similar to yours, conflicting messages from both sides. And it appears that it's not the first time,Darksiders II had a similar problem.Digital River doesn't seem to have a stable business.

It wasn't a matter of not believing anything. I was commenting on your choice of words.
I usually take "crock of shit" to mean that something isn't true, not that it sucks or wasn't done right.
The Wizard's Edition exists and the Ninistarter campaign did what it was going to, so I didn't get what you were trying to say at first.

EDIT: Apparently my order just shipped. No problems whatsoever, and I preordered months ago.

So bottom line: don't blame Namco, blame Digital Rivers.
The shitty thing is, people are obviously going to place the blame solely on Namco without thinking about it anyway, as I'm sure has already happened plenty.

To be real about it, namco should have known better than to use this company, and everyone knows it. I would imagine they were trying to save some cash, probably with the intention of actually being able to afford to bring this awesome release out at all, so I believe their intentions probably were good, but you get what you pay for.

I want to go out and buy this game tbh. I morally cant though, and I am fucking broke now anyway cause of the bullshit of life that has been coming my way in abundance :/

It is Namco's fault for choosing a company very well known for having a bad rep in these kinds of things.

Namco Bandai finally responds to the WE issues.

We understand the $20 clubNamco voucher that has been offered to our affected fans may give little solace in place of an actual Wizard's Edition package. It is unfortunate that we are unable to produce additional Wizard's Edition units to fulfill all the extra orders; with that in mind, NAMCO BANDAI Games America will be giving the affected fans a 400 page hard bound copy of the Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch strategy guide which includes an exclusive code to unlock a Gold Hurly Familiar in the game in addition to the original $20 club Namco voucher. Our E-commerce provider will be contacting the affected customers in the coming days with instructions on how to obtain their copy of the Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch strategy guide. We hope that this can give the affected consumers some comfort; NAMCO BANDAI truly does value and care about its fans.

Still a slap in the face to those that were first in line to reserve but still got their order cancelled. While some who reserved it last month (and others through a backdoor link) got theirs.
