My games, finally out of storage containers and into their new home. Sorry about the quality of the picture, camera battery was low so I took it in a hurry.

You inspired me heavily. I worked up a real sweat moving everything over. Thanks Chris!

^ I don't. Those things are as bad as US Saturn Cases. breath wrong and they shatter and they are not standard so replacing them is a hassle

Looks really good, nice and tidy. I like looking at game rooms/collections, I lurk the DP and Retro Gamer forums and have seen dozens of tours on YouTube; I find it really interesting to see how different people like to store/display their stuff.

I actually wish more people here would post some snaps, I've seen some really impressive stuff added to this topic over the years and I'm pretty nosey.
:P

I agree with you both, they do have a unique charm to them (not to mention the nostalgia value) but on the other hand they are quite fragile and are a pain in the arse to replace.

Back then yeah, although this didn't really effect me as I wasn't into Star Fox. I would have been more annoyed by say... having to import Shenmue II for the DC.

I have a few nice pieces in my collection, though it is no where near as large as most I see in this thread. I've begun to move away from needing large stacks of games lining all the walls and now focus mostly only on buying and collecting games and memorabilia I really like. That isn't to say I take issue or look down upon those that do, mind you. Just that as I look back at all the things in life that I often thought to myself I "just had to have" that it ended up weighing me down some what while simultaneously not making me that much more happy. I am probably going to be on the move a lot and experimenting with a lot of different addresses in the coming years on my over all path to settling in San Fran, so it is perhaps best I've begun to pack lighter.

I know the more common expression how great something can be is how much and how big it is. However some people I seen they have dirty houses nasty rooms and look claustrophobic. This may sound cliche but if you have a few items you really love and not the taj mahal like some people have. It's still a good collection. Some people I believe turn the hobby into hoarding. It's not impressive but dangerous and scary. Yeah some like to have large stuff but only if it can be contained and organized. Don't get too caught up in small or big for personal value on a collection. I never set out to say I need 5876 games. I just got what sounds interesting to me and get what I like. I just happen to like a lot :P
