I'm pretty sure it's exactly the same version they released on the PC back in the late 90's just with some achievements and cloud saving. Also I see something about how you could alter the stats of your characters.

I still think it looks the same graphically though.

Even fully-3D PSX games will look like shit when using these "enhancing" emulators (mainly PCSX in its various forms). Why? Because such PSX games look too barren and blocky in high res and the advanced filters only underline their weak sides.

Not to even mention a lot of small bugs that rear their ugly heads deep into the experience...

I pray that my PSX won't crap out on me as I can't afford a new one in this shitty life situation.

Shame you don't have thrift stores to pick them up for about 10$

This is a real issue for Polish gamers. Retro stuff can't be found in such stores as they simply don't exist.

It goes to auction sites where hustlers want an arm and a leg for it. Of course, there are exceptions, but that's the general situation.

This a new version? I had it on PC years ago but if they added more stuff it's worth a revisit.

Yeah and again I think it was handled by a western house but Eidos I think.

Looks like they gave it slight improvements in the visual department, but I never played the original so I can't say for sure.

^ They didn't improve anything. Ironically, it's actually emulated, with some questionable 2D filtering, like in the case of these bushes:

No just really bad upscaled textures. However PSone did start the Cel shaded craze with Parappa & Oni.

Blue, stop being so moral and become a Polish retro game hustler.

You ought to take advantage of poor foreigners like a Casinopolis ring pincer.

TBH I think i like the imperfect look better, something about the way that looks takes away a certain aesthetic from FF7.

Really like the 3DS. Still IMO needs a better selection of titles. So far has more to offer than Vita but hopefully like last handheld gen it started to pick up later. Nice to have such a big screen. Played some MGS3 & Kingdom Hearts. Yeah the 3D is impressive but made me fuck up more and hurt my eyes. Such a stupid gimmick. More excited about Vita TBH. Still my mind is still blown that handhelds are consoles in the hand now. I thought GBA was very impressive in 2001. 3Ds one issue is DS games look worse and Netflix looked blurry and low rez. Not a big deal to me as I rather watch a movie on my TV or tablet. But seems almost useless on a smaller blurry screen. Still a big screen. One thing that does bug me why Nintendo seems to love 240 resolution. Not asking them to have OLED near HD screen like vita but would it be so hard to go to 600+ screen? MGS3d needs a second analog badly. So 3DS I have some gripes with but still really like it but think I will LOVE vita. Wonder if Vita can top PSP as my fave handheld of ALL time.

Just found out about Star Wars 1313. I don't know if it will be any good, or even what it's going to be, but the setting is perfect. I used to love the idea of the Coruscant underworld in the old West End Star Wars RPG. Most of the best Star Wars expanded universe material from that game has never been tapped, and I hope this is a step in that direction, as that game world and its stories are actually better than most of the actual Star Wars movies and games thus far.
