the game's certainly worth the full retail price but if you've waited this long, you can wait a few months as well, so why not save a few bucks?

Unless it suddenly gets high demand for some reason and becomes very hard to find for under 100$. Something JRPG's have a tenancy to do on the flip of a dime. Recently this happened with Xenoblade,The last Story,Radiata Historia,Fire Emblem,Ni no Kuni CE,Ys Seven CE. I'd snag it while you have the chance. You snooze you may lose.

Yeah, I went ahead and ordered it. It was $20 off, even when the retail price goes down I doubt it will be under $40 until much later this year, plus I want to play it over summer so I think this the best deal I am gonna find for it anyway.

So the DS version might get localized. Before you say who cares I got it on PS3. Well fans who have played both can confirm some real differences. DS version Shadar is the main villain. More spells in the book. Some places that could be explored you can't in the PS3 version.More bonus dungeons and quests missing from the PS3 version. So be interesting if it does happen. Just be better if they did on 3DS.

Once you get the ship, grind abit in the small island to the north east of the map. Theirs a pokemon there that'll net you serious exp.

what is the name of that familiar? would you recommend i grind/level up/ farm (whatever u wanna call it) before that point? i have the strategy guide but am only using it as a guideline when i wanna look something up. im not reading it page by page. if read alot about how you shouldnt try and level up until you get the ship but that seems like a horrible idea. as soon as i hit the world map i ran in circles and leveled to level 5.

Do i have to pay for all merit upgrades in row 1 for the merit upgrades in row 2 to become available?

EDIT: I bought all upgrades in row 1 and row 2 became available.
