Been waiting to play this game for awhile. Nice little package for whats basically just the download code for the game. But got it for 1000yen which is 500 yen or 5 bucks cheaper then the PSN store. And it gave me all the extra DLC for it. The artbook is pretty fresh too.
I would even be content if we just got some sort of packaging like that when we buy a DLC only game. Why cant we get things like that here? Why does only japan have all the great ideas like this?
I saw something like that here for Terraria or whatever. I think Duck Tales was like that too, to begin with at least. And I've seen PC releases like that as well. I'm not big on the idea personally; not sure what good a physical package is without a physical release of the game itself. I like getting extras and all, but only if they're actually supplement to the game itself. And a voucher just ain't what I have in mind.
The biggest thing is that I actually saved money by buying this compared to the PSN store. So I could throw all that stuff in the garbage and still be happy.
The artbook and the poster seem like pretty decent additions to increase the value of that particular release. Its still better then just downloading a game from x interface, atleast you get SOMETHING collectible. Its an improved version no matter how you look at it because of that.
I bought an SD2SNES -- now I can play all the Super Metroid rom hacks on official hardware without any input lag (and I can play just about every other SNES game too).
