I jumped right on it, but JESUS CHRIST, is it expensive.
Am I remembering right, that the CE for the first Xillia was only 99 bucks? They bumped this one up to 129, which was the whole reason I ended up passing on that Armored Core: Verdict Day collector's edition. Still bummed out on that one.
Namco are doing some insanely cool things these days (what with the game selection they've been localizing and the cool LE's they been doing for them), but fuck me, the pricing is crazy.

wtf, it is $130? and yeah the first one was only $100... well this one does have more stuff with it, in addition to the statue, soundtrack, and artbook that the original xillia CE had, this one has the pocket watch and the cat plushie. I wonder how high quality that pocket watch is? I wonder if it actually works? Regardless, preordered... FUCK. Should I just hand over the keys to my car to namco too?

It's basic economics. If you guys are willing to pay $100 for a CE, they up the ante to $130. If you're willing to pay $130, maybe the next one will be $150. They charge what the market will bear and so long as people keep buying, they will keep raising.

Well yeah, obviously, but any more than this and I'll say "fuck it" and just get the standard editions. Already ended up passing on the Armored Core one because of this. Hell, I may even have to cancel this preorder anyway. I don't know if I'll need to or not by the time the game's release rolls around. Never know what the financial situation'll be like.
But then again, we're also living in the age of internet complaining, which sometimes yields surprising results. So y'know, bitch enough and they might change things anyway.

That's the best purchase that I've seen posted here yet lol It sent me running to eBay and I didn't find a single one posted for sale. That is so damn cool. I honestly didn't know that existed, now I'm sad. Thanks Aizen!

Also I can't believe they are charging 129.99 for the ToX 2 CE when the Tales of Symphonia HD one was $99.99 and blows this one out of the water. But I just pre-ordered it anyway

Yeah this japanese collector is rare and someone told me that the last one on ebay reached 300$+, kinda crazy.

I am a lucky owner of the limited Xenoblade artbook (1000 in the world) that you could get by registering Xenoblade Collector's edition within limited time (Nintendo France).

The japanese version cost near to nothing, that's funny
