Double post:

No codec/radio, no cardboard boxes, no rations, no lockers, no knocking, no somersaults and no "!" in MGSV: Ground Zeroes.

So basically they've removed a lot of the little quirks that make Metal Gear, Metal Gear, that the fans like about the series. =D>

So Namco finally announced an official release date for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle.
April 29th, both digitally on PSN and physically in a "limited retail release" on Amazon and ClubNamco. I've been waiting for that, so I thought I'd give a heads up.
Also because the cover is fucking awesome:

Both online retailers will have a separate DLC character available to those who preorder, though I'm sure both characters will eventually be available anyway on PSN.

And if you haven't read the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga, go and do it. It's awesome and will make the game even more awesome if you understand all the references. The new anime series is also pretty good and is true to the manga, but it only has covered the first two story arcs (with the third arc coming out in April).

I'd love to read the manga, but there seems to be a ton of it. Would be a pretty pricey investment.
I know I could probably read it online, but I've always been kind of weird about reading longform comics online. There's just something better about having a book in your hands.

Each story arc is pretty self-contained. It's not like other long-running shonen manga where you have to read 400 chapters to know what's happening.

For example, in the third story arc Stardust Crusaders, the protagonist of the second arc is a supporting character and the villain of the first arc is the primary antagonist, but you aren't missing anything if you haven't read the first 2 arcs.

It will probably cost a lot if you buy all of them, but you have the freedom to jump around.

Sony raises the price of the PS4 in Canada.

I've heard of people marking up consoles after they buy and try to flip them. Never heard of one of the big three actually raising the MSRP of a console after it's already shipped though. :P

Speaking as a Canadian, I kinda get why Sony did it- but in the end it doesn't make much sense.

Our loonie (dollar) has been around 90¢ US for, oh, a few months, at least. The thing is, the exchange rate usually fluctuates up and down regularly, where for a time not too long ago we were above parity. So although the likelihood of that happening again soon is unlikely, would we expect Sony to cut us a deal if that were the case? Not bloody likely.

Compared to our friendly neighbours to the south, our market is quite a bit smaller. That's why it's a bit perplexing that we're getting the squeeze. I would get all up in arms about it, but I'm a PS4 launch day owner and I've just demolished a bottle of wine so I'm feeling pretty chill about it.

Think most would have expected a downgrade but it still looks great from the TV ad I keep seeing.

So MS has a clause aparently in its agreements with indie devs stating the Xbox version of a game would have to come out the same day as the competition if they want to make it available on Xbox. Efectively cock blocking the PS4 or Wii U(lol) from getting any timed exclusives. Touche MS..its an effective business strategy I guess.. eww..
Adam Boyes, our friendly neighborhood Sony used games sales man and Shenmue acknowledger fired back with a blank page list of who they dont allow a game to release on before Sony's.

In other news, I thought this was nice of him to say. Although it sure does come more into perspective for him when MS has been receiving alot of the backlash from the gaming community. Naturally you dont want to have it continue especially if it effects the mainstream audience.
