Where can I replace my Shenmue II PAL DC jewel case?

My Shenmue II case has taken some damage recently. The little plastic connector things that lock the disc in place via its center have mostly fallen off, as well as an outer piece/hinge that connects the front of the disc to the back.

I found this on EBAY:

Since each case for Shenmue II is made for 2CDs, I'm not sure if this model would work. I'm not sure if I'm concerned enough to spend that much either - $18.50 isn't too bad, and I probably can't expect much better since it's 2016, but maybe someone knows of a super cheap replacement option.

Thanks!

$18.50 is a total rip off, even if that's the only option. I got a replacement 6-disc case for my copy of Shenmue for something like $4.50. Unless you're really worried about retaining resell value, I would just get cheaper cases. You'd probably have to lie about those being the original anyway.

I have the same issue with about a quarter of my Dreamcast cases. Mine are PAL cases which are notorious for breaking easily.

I want them replaced but I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices that sellers are asking on Ebay (£24.99 for 6 cases). I have over 50 games in total so around 10-15 of those cases are damaged. I will not pay £50 to replace them, I'd rather spend that money on more DC games.

So yes, if anyone knows of a cheap supplier I'd love to know as well.

Thanks :)

Look for some cheap Dreamcast games with mint cases, maybe even sealed ones.

I had to buy a whole bunch of these as replacements until I got my PAL set complete and I never bought empty cases. Instead I bought a couple of newly sealed dumb sports games that were cheaper then the emtpy cases that some sellers have for sale.

Just watch out to pick the right cases, as there are two versions. One has the Dreamcast logo printed on in black while the other one has it embossed on the plastic without extra color. Both Shenmues use the second version.

You have a complete set of DC games? I'm not too surprised, but that's awesome. =D>

Yeah, I do have all of the official PAL releases and accessories in the box.
Don't wanna derail this topic any further but here's a photo (I think I posted this somewhere else around here before).
