Sometimes I just wonder...how do all those game heroes make saving princesses and worlds look so easy?
Then, I realize that they are relying on their items! If only I would be allowed to use those items, I too, could be a hero. So I made a list of the top 10 items I would like to have in real life, and explain why these items would be so great to have in the video below.

Can't quite think of ten, so I'll add cool ones as I think of them.

Rico Rodriguez's grappling hook from any of the Just Cause games would be a total game changer though. In fact in game terms it IS such a "game" changer that I think all 3D games should have one! It makes a real difference to the feeling of freedom in a game!

A Daedric one handed sword from Skyrim. They just look cool and they're pretty damned sharp as well.

A Gunblade! How could I forget that!?

Apologies if these overlap any of those in the video...

1) The mind reading stone from Alex Kidd in Miracle World. I'd use it for much better purposes than winning at Paper, Rock, Scissors, too.

2) Stealth camo from Metal Gear Solid. I'd use it for much better purposes than saving the world from a nuclear strike by terrorists, too.

3) Red jewel or black jewel or zero jewel from the Yakuza series. I'd use it for much better purposes than... okay, yeah, I'd use it to cheat at roulette.

4) Chell's portal gun. So long, two-hour commute.

5) And on that note, the Half-Life 2 gravity gun. Because LOL.

6) The water shield from Sonic 3. Imagine exploring the Great Barrier Reef all day in one of those.

7) The super emeralds from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Invincibility, speed, cool hair - these give you EVERYTHING.

8) The super leaf from Super Mario Bros 3. Once I've conquered the seas I'll want the skies next, right?

9) The love potion from Omikron: The Nomad Soul. Assuming the roulette jewel from Yakuza doesn't accomplish the same goal.

10) The "reduce wanted level" token from Grand Theft Auto III. Might need it after using that stealth camo.

1) The Magatama from Ace Attorney 2 & 3, to break your psyche locks and unlock your inner secrets.

2) The Peticopter from Alex Kidd in Miracle World.
