E3 2016 - Dates, Games, Rumors.

^I think it was actually as far back as 2011 (That's scary how it doesn't feel that long ago). I remember that because it was when the Wii U controller was announced and we was confused if it was just a new controller or console.

I'll set up a tinychat room tomorrow like we had before and post the link in here. That chatroom runs better and then we won't get the people who have only posted 50 times talking about only Shenmue non stop and making shitty sailor jokes.

Wow, really? Time sure flies by.

Hell naw, got work at 7.30AM the next day and the Sony conference here is like 2AM, lol. Hate it that it has to be Sony's that I miss, which is the one I look forward to the most nowadays, is at such an awkward time.

Last year I was on holiday when I had all of the time in the world to watch the Sony conference and stayed up till 3AM seeing Shenmue 3's announcement. I'd like to watch the Bethesda one too since Dishonored 2 and the rumours of Evil Within 2 and Prey 2 have me excited but alas, I can't. I'll just have to do catch up on it. It's a shame, but nevermind I'll see the others live.

We were all on the Dojo chat when Shenmue 3 was announced. Think there was about 30 people on there when it dropped and things went nuts.

It has begun, Hidetaka Miyazaki President of From Software has revealed that they have three games in development [revealed in 4Gamer a Japanese game publication]:

Project 1 - Action RPG with dark fantasy setting but approached from different angle than Dark Souls
Project 2 - A reboot but also a new game with ideas that came from their previous franchises.
Project 3 - he says it's something different from what the company has been doing previously. He says it will be a bit weird.

Miyazaki personally wants to make a mixture of fantasy and mech, something like The Vision of Escaflowne

But he did rule out fantasy + mech as one of the working titles.

And finally...the big one:

Miyazaki confirmed one the projects may be an Armored Core game.

Sorry to fans who've been waiting for new Armored Core. Its concept is still charming even now.

I think Armored Core can re-sublimate with another interesting valuable game. And many of our staffs want to make new AC

Personally AC was also what started my career so I have fondness of it. Of course we don't not make a new Armored Core.

You have my attention Miyazaki. A game like that would be incredible if done right, I would like to see something like that and see what approach the take to making it work, what kind of battle system it would have. Very intriguing idea thats for sure.

Yeah I also saw that berserk trailer yesterday and thought it was pretty crazy and cryptic.

Using the brutal last scene of the original anime right from the start as a the teaser

Just wish that trailer had shown a bit more of the game, the world and the actual game play. Wasnt the Dreamcast game the last Berserk game to come out here?

Regardless its going to be a good year for Berserk.

Some gameplay of stuff like Gears 4 and Scalebound. Dead Rising 4 and State of Decay 2 announced. Xbox One slim announced. Next console which is 4K called Project Scorpio announced for Winter 2017.

Good man Riku. Didn't sound like a too bad conference. Putting a bit of pressure on Sony if Andy House is to be believed about PS4K not being at the their conference.

Also thought after last year's Sony conference, and the MS position in the market that they threw a load of money at Rockstar, and come through with a Red Dead exclusivity. Man, this conference later could be absolutely insane.
