Seaman Remaster/New Game in the Works?!

Ok,

So, it was two years ago that Shenmue 3 gets announced after having a rather large following and hundreds of fans clamoring for the sequel and eventually having to pay for the game to even be created via crowd funding.

Meanwhile, two years later... Seaman gets backed and starts up without the need of a Kickstarter. What the actual F?

18 years is a long time between Seaman releases. Let's hope it's not an anticlimax.

Well we can definitely say they weren't premature in announcing it.

If it turns out the rumored remaster is Seaman and not Shenmue I'm going to lose my shit.

I think I recall back when they promised a spiritual successor was coming to DS only with Monkeys. I also think a sequel was planned for 3DS but never heard anything since. Don't think it ever happened. This is one of the few more well known DC games I have yet to play.

I have it on good authority that nobody actually ever liked Seaman.

I played it like 10 years ago, it was a pretty neat game actually.

Kinda frustrating and repetitive, but he went deep with the questions.

I would love to see another weird project like it.

The giant bomb video on this was better than the entire game.

The best part was Leonard Nimoy. How the hell they got him to narrate is a feat in itself.

For the new one I say bring in Patrick Stewart. Seaman:The Next Generation.

A shame this could not of been made a few years ago. RIP Leonord Nimoy... But I would not mind Patrick Stewart, Jonathon Frakes, Avery Brooks, Scott Bakula, or for a change Kate Mulgrew. I like George Takei, but his voice is over used. I personally like Brent Spiner's, plus he can impersonate others. I also like Walter Koenig at least from Babylon 5, not so much Star Trek. Just no William Shatner please. I still have nightmares of Rocket Man...

But it does not need to be a fellow Star Trek alumni. Could be someone else as well. Also this was one of the games I never had the pleasure of playing, although I wonder if it was more for Leonard Nimoy's voice or the unique game play...
