T.O.S.D. AWARDS RESULTS.

Welcome to the results of T.O.S.D AWARDS of 2004.






Firstly id like to thank everyone for participating in this hosting to whats now well known as the T.O.S.D. AWARDS, recognising those who seemingly give a little extra to this small yet faithful internet community, based on what we generally concieve as the greatest home video game ever created. Despite the actual topic only being 4 pages long, it was packed full of nominations, and over 30 members actually took the time to log their votes.
One thing that i noticed in counting up the results, is that A LOT more members have been recognised, and, unlike other awards, there has been all close contests in the majority of categories, with no real clear cut winners. Despite all this being held in the name of fun, and to get a few stagnant posters, posting again and other such reasons, i feel this point clearly demonstrates how each and every member of the Dojo gives his or her own little piece to the place, and would not seem completely the same if they wernt here, to one person, or the whole Dojo community. I feel these awards demonstrate how settles the Dojo has become, when compared to the times when i started viewing the forum, and then when i also joined.


On that note, id like to personally thank every member of the Dojo for this, and also for making this place what it is today. I will not degrade this comment by placing names in a hierarchial fashion, but everyone does bring something to this place, and i thank you all for that. To conclude the presentation, i offer you now the results of T.O.S.D. AWARDS 2004.

Id just like to close off by saying congratulations to all the winners and nominations of the categories, and also for everyone who helped keep the T.O.S.D. AWARDS alive. The next awards will be held this time next year. I feel that the demand will be greater for the awards if its left for this period of time, and also some new willers may emerge over that period of time. I hope perhaps a monthy awards competition may start up, like the golden member award, but i would need someone to take that torch and keep it running.


Since its 4.10 am here in Ireland now, and i have work in the morning, i would like to apologise for any mis spellings of names in the results. Im just knackered and need to get to my bed. Thanks everyone again for making the T.O.S.D. AWARDS a success, and it was my pleasure to host them once again.
