Well i have a Turkish friend who got me into their soccer league a few years ago...and i started following them a bit, looking at the highlights and such...a lot of their players are absolutely amazing! I've never seen anyone else play like Alex or Van Hoojdonk

Club or Country?

Postby Master Chi Hi » Sat Dec 11, 2004 2:00 am

This is a little out of nowhere but I was just thinking how come allot of the Top class players such as Luis Figo and Zidane leave Football at an International Level and play Club only, the only reasons i could come up with is that they are giving the countries developing Players chances to play at an international level and produce more big names. I would have thought they would stop playing for their Clubs since playing for a overseas country club requires players to pretty much live in a different country all together rather than quitting their International Team.

Etrocious result for City on saturday...(Man City). We are just so unpredictable, I mean why can a team that can beat Chelsea at home...and villa...go on to play a team like spurs and lose?

Just silly, getting gradually sick of them again, and I dunno if any of you watched the highlights but did you see the challenge on Wright-Phillips's leg? it nearly broke! So lucky...

So yeah, if city dont buck up their ideas they will be in a relegation fight again if they dont get some points together.

The up and down life as a city fan, (last four games) W-W-L-L :?.
