Watching it on the 360's sky app. Can see Liverpool getting the win.

And so the reports start. Word is AVB wanted none of the latest signings, I know 3 of them were in motion before they even sacked Harry and while he wanted Anderson Levy was having none of it and of course he ballsed up the Moutinho deal.

Havent bought a rag today, but did he mention any names? I dont rate him as a manager at all, not unless he proves he is as good as he is made out to be. He manages like the way Man City played yesterday against QPR. He is far too meticulous and clinical, which never ever works in the Permier League. European leagues yes, but not here.

I would be happy with the Dempsey signing like.

*sigh*

It's going to be a very long season. FSG have fucked Rodgers over massively with not providing the funds to recruit some attacking reinforcements. If Suarez and Borini don't show up on the day then there is literally fuck-all on the bench which we can introduce after 60 mins to change a game. Mid-table mediocrity at best this season unfortunately, as it has been for the last 3 years now.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to change my predictions based on the transfer window. I really thought they were gonna get right behind Rodgers, and getting rid of (the overrated) Carrol without bringin in a replacement is just reverse logic.

The LFCTV and RAWK forums are fucking seething. Liverpool are playing some good possession football but they're struggling with the final pass, as was the case last season. It was obvious to everyone that a decent striker was required, yet those dumbass yanks didn't pull their fingers out and sort out what was blatantly required. I just can't believe what a badly ran club it has been for such a long time now. I honestly thought the ownership was in good hands after the godawful Rick Parry/H&G/Christian Purslow eras, oh how wrong I was.

Would have sold Reina 3 seasons ago. Absolute wonky keeper. I know its a team game though, sure it was Gerrard who made the mistake to let Podolski in for the first goal. Agree completely the yanks are strangling the team. Cant see Rodgers at fault as of yet like.

UTD have looked like a League 1 team for a large part of the first half.

Lol hes better than nothing. You guys dont have a striker more or less. This United team is atrociocious. They deserve to get beat. Southampton has always been a bogey team for us to.

Loving all the haters saying we're a one man team and that we scrape results. The past 3 seasons we've won 2 PL titles, missed out on a 3rd by one point and were beaten in the CL by arguably the best team ever.

Papering over the cracks indeed.
