I wouldn't be surprised if Ryan had a run in with Nick.

He was a guy who would post topics asking personal questions and asked people about their private lives all the time. His occupation was being a stalker.

- Sign on the dole after quitting work, with the intention of setting up my business.
- Get part-time job offer, decline it coz JobCentre advisor says they'll be able to help me set up my business.
- Go along to a business enterprise event to get help with my business plan, where I'm told I will be given a two grand grant and continue to receive self employment credits (same amount a fortnight as dole money) for the first year.
- Enquire at JobCentre about it, told that it's a two grand loan and I get the self-employment credits over half a year. I tell them I can't get a loan coz of my credit score, but they tell me not to worry coz it isn't taken into account.
- I submit my business plan to them, but they say I have to wait a few months coz I have to be on the dole for six months first.
- I spend that time working on various improvements to the business plan, mapping everything out and working my bollocks off.
- At the six month mark, I get told I have to see an external organisation, who constantly change my appointment dates before I get round to being able to show them my business plan.
- By the time I get to show them, they say they want to it to be in a very specific format, only want to hear about the core part of the business, and tell me that it's a loan of up to one thousand, and the payments are only for four months, and reduce by 20% every month.
- After jumping through hoops, explaining the smallest insignificant details (shit like actually having to split my utility bills between personal and business use), attending seminars n shit about stuff I already know about, creating a projected cashflow chart, they finally look at my business plan, and tell them they wouldn't be comfortable giving me a loan for anything other than running costs (I needed a CD printing machine that cost a grand)
- Growing impatient, and in need of the CD printer, I get a loan off my uncle, so the loan I get from the JobCentre thing can go towards running costs.
- Three submitted business plans/cashflow charts later, and I'm just now finally approved, and it turns out that I have to submit my credit score, so I blatantly won't get the loan.
So, all in all, I've wasted 11 months dancing about like a circus bear when I could've had that money and then some just by gettin a part time job. God, at times I really love this country...
