Feels weird to be writing my own will and planning my funeral,but that's what we're doing. I'm ready tho.

No way! Been doin the same thing myself. Well, I was before I came to the conclusion that I need to take on an apprentice to be the heir to my creations (don't personally know a soul who could carry that shit on)

Plus I've put a whole bunch of shit about how everything I own should be sold off to fund any possible way at the time to preserve myself in the event that technology could bring me back/keep me alive long enough to be made immortal (or at least significantly extend my life) via the various avatar/lazarus projects that are currently in search of funding.

Failing that, I wanna be cremated and condensed into a diamond ring and handed down as a family heirloom. At least then I'd have at least have some form of immortality...

In case you haven't noticed, I'm reluctant to die. I'd rather live as a hologram from age 40 onwards than take my chances with mother nature.

I'm at a point I'm ready for whenever it happens. Just that I want to enjoy the moment til then. Something happened at Xmas that got me to change a few things. Also I found out I have a plot my dad bought for himself but never ended up being used. My mom has no money to make plans but wants to be buried so I am leaving it to her. I as well rather be cremated and the best bit..get's really nerdy here. I will have a DC converted to store my ashes. I'm a hopeless nerd.

My dang parents still have not done that.

My moms parents rest their souls (Grandpa Thanksgiving day 2009 and Grandma Feb. 3,2011) had theirs planned since the 1970s, at least their wills and grave plots. Since grandpa died first he was buried on the bottom then when grandma passed away she was buried on top of him. And they bought their plot when the cemetery was fairly new so theirs are in the front of the cemetery by the masaleum (spelling?) and the statue of an angel on top of that building looking down. And since its mostly a catholic cemetery a lot of their good church friends are buried around them, and oddly my dads grandma is buried close to them too (she was also a devout Catholic). Very close. That wasn't planned at all since of course neither family knew each other until my mom and dad started dating in the mid 80s long after they had bought their plots.

Thats Holy Cross. I have family buried in 2 others here too, the 2 largest ones,which are right across from each other but they have different names.

My grandmas twin sister (Fraternal) was buried in their childhood hometown but she was cremated, buried her ashes next to their mom in a special case.

My mom really wants to be buried in her family cemetery in Tennessee but she knows it's not likely because of money issues. If I had the money I'd do it in a heartbeat. I know my brother won't. Also side note I had forgotten how much death scares people.

I don't fear death but I don't want to die now, at 22 years old. At this point I haven't done anything worthwhile. Until I succeed I can't die... or I'd rather not.

Yeah it scares me. My grandma died suddenly of an aortic anurism (spellling?). She was only in her early 70s and we thought or at least I did that she would live as long as her mom did into her 90s.

Burying my grandmas sister and her parents in their childhood hometown was no big deal because they both lived in Lewiston,Idaho and the towns not far from there, Cottonwood,ID. (Google says 58 miles) And Lewiston is 100 miles from Spokane so our family network is pretty close knit. I don't have much family that lives outside of Spokane or North Idaho. The only one I can think of is my moms cousin who lives in Fairbanks,AK and another of my moms cousins who lives in Colorado. (well anothe rone lives in Boise but thats Idaho still, and another in Bellingham which is north Seattle)

I guess I am lucky sort of that all my family is pretty close.
