I've been toying with that idea for a while now but just can't justify the purchase when this bad boy I bought in 2008 is still going strong..

Yeah the Sony KDL32EX500 I had in the living room since 2010 still works perfect. My old Sony CRT I had in the bedroom went out, which is what prompted the purchase after wanting a larger TV for awhile now. That thing had been around since the late 90's. So I moved the KDL32EX500 to my bedroom and got the KDL55W700B for the living room.

Unbelievably, my mate still has a Sony Trinitron TV. Not for the bedroom either, it's his main.

I've been a lot into comics, bande dessinée, fumetti, manga, whatever this past year. I wouldn't say there's a new golden age out there, but some stuff out of Dark Horse and Image are really great. I like how unrestrained this medium is, and it consists of a very accessible way to explore new worlds - comparing it to video games, for instance, without consuming so much time. There's a lot of good stuff out there, and it's not all about the capes.

^^I haven't read comics in kind of a while, but Jason Aaron is a great writer. Scalped is still my favorite completed comic series ever.

^I haven't read all of Scalped, but I liked what I did read, and the art is great as well.

I'm constantly amazed how much the writers and artists work. That there are still so many comic magazines published today still feels like an anachronism to me, but one that I really support and am happy exists.

I still remember having a commodore 64 when I was a kid. I think it was pretty outdated at the time we had it but it was still fun to play with.
