Hour and a half into Hobbit and all it has been so far is walking/eating/walking/eating rinse and repeat. Way too much CGI and the CGI looks like shit when it comes to animation,still looks fake. All they did is film in front of a green screen. The original trilogy they filmed on location,used actors for orcs and each prop was unique to that actor wearing it. It was a very carefully crafted series. This is CGI and green screens and it shows. This does not feel like Peter Jacksons LOTR but a made for TV take on The Hobbit to bank on the success of LOTR...just 10 years late.
I really ignored all the reviews for it and only heard people didn't like it. My first thought was that many of those people I remember asking when it was announced they didn't get why make another as they never heard of the book. Well now I see why it's not very well liked. It's Peter Jacksons Made for TV take on the story trying to bank on the success of LOTR using many shortcuts. Didn't work.

Ya I still havent seen the Hobit. Dont think I ever want to. If I wanted CG id play a video games.

Watched The Year of Living Dangerously starring a young Mel Gibson, the other day. It was actually pretty decent, better than I was expecting. It also reminds one of Mel's 80's heyday, he really was the quintessential ruggedly handsome American hero. Genuinely a shame he started to lose the plot a bit (Not that it was your fault, Mel, you were driven to madness by the women and the jews, I know). I'm pleased to hear he's making another comeback though.

Snow white and the hunstman
Kirsten Stewart is Damn hot. Chris Hemsworth is a great actor. Theron makes a great evil queen. CGI was better than The Hobbit. In fact some of the best CGI I seen.
Everything else was horrid. Kirsten Stewart can't act at all.

It can't be as bad as the other Snow White movie that came out around the same time. Julia Roberts' British accent is abominable. I do think Phil Collins' daughter is very cute in it, though. Yeah that's why I watched the Snow White movie. Cuz of the hot babes man. Definitely not because of the beautiful sets. That would be gay dude.....*sweats*

Which is funny as most of us don't know a real brit accent and many can't tell the difference from an aussie one.

Matrix 9/10
Reloaded 8/10 [Zion stuff goes on too long and slows the film down]
Revolutions 6/10 [Needed more Matrix, Neo and the final battle could have been much better]

Reloaded is underrated, imo. Great fight scenes (the chateau fight is also my favourite in the series, loved the weaponry they used in it, how crazy the fight was and the actual choreography was well done). I also agree that Revolutions was a disappointment and spends far too much time in the real world as opposed to the Matrix itself, definitely a lack of fight scenes in that one and the plot gets really contrived and the ending was silly/cheesy.
