The Skin I Live In

A Spanish film about a plastic surgeon with a bizarre obsession. I can't divulge too much of the plot as it would ruin the twist but I can assure you it's fucking mental. It had an American Psycho vibe to it, which is no mean feat as American Psycho is one of my favourite flicks. Recommended.

Star Trek Into Darkness.

I liked it but I thought the first one was way better. Cumberbatch totally killed it in this movie.

^ will see it next month. I keep hearing how good he is but I will have a hard time taking his Khan over Ricardo's. Ricardos was so elegant,so classy so articulate charming and a nice to talk to evil mother fucker that I hated that I loved him.

I will watch the movie with a harsh grading curve. Speaking of Star Trek a new series is coming on TV. Star Trek Captain Worf.

Montalbán is the original for sure. I liked the hard edge version Cumberbatch gave. I also appreciated the homage to the ending to Trek 2, it's a shame I already knew Kirk was going to be fine in the same movie. It was way ballsier what they did in Trek 2.
