My first thought was "Wait, seriously??" and my second thought was "Where's my wallet.." then I eventually came to thinking about this place. ANYWAY...It's the thought that counts, even if it is the third thought.
Needless to say, I've seen a lot of familiar faces popping up in the past few days while I've been lurking, and it's really great to see everyone doing well. Not to mention that the excitement hasn't died out completely yet.

It brings a tear to my eye seeing all these old faces back. I wonder if Iwao has heard about Shenmue? He hasn't been active for a while.

I have Shenmue music on in the background, and listening to "Old Song of the Village" from Guilin perfectly line up with my reading of this topic was just too fucking cute.

I never forged any strong relationships here, but I lurked and posted frequently from 2009-2011ish. Every few months I would visit for news on Shenmue. I never gave up on the dream because I knew they held out on the story for a reason. Someone was going to profit of Shenmue III, it was just a matter of when. Even though I'm not a fan of Kickstarters philisophically, I'll take S3 any way I can get it. This will be the one and only time I pledge to a kickstarter, unless there's one for Dark Cloud 3.
