I dont mind that its gone. There are some tweaks that have been mentioned that could reasonably be made, mainly regarding the forums structure. It took a lot of effort, but i will be the first to admit that the Shenmue Cast forum has become defunct. The remaining stars i messaged did not get back to me unfortunately, including Eric Kelso, Ryan Drees and Jerry Ledbetter. I did come close with Paul Lucas, but he was just far too busy, with his career in Singapore and also he is extremely family orientated. That could be moved within a topic etc.

I think the shenmue cast forom deserves to be archived rather than just cast in to a single forum, it's a great shenmue related contribution that any shenmue fan can enjoy reading, maybe it can get it's own section on the main website?

Could be written up in a kind of interview format?
