What are you reading?

(Discuss literally anything here including introductions)

The only director autobiography (or journals, memoirs) was the Robert Rodriguez production journals for El Mariachi "Rebel Without a Crew".

I would really like to get that Stanley Kubrick one and anything on Spielberg.

Dean Koontz version?

No, the original Mary Shelley, actually. Never read it before. Have you read the Dean Koontz version?

I hated the movie. But the real story is pretty interesting.

Despite the fact I think its totally stupid.

"In April 1992 a young man from a well-to-do family hitchhiked to Alaska and walked alone into the wilderness north of Mt. McKinley. His name was Christopher Johnson McCandless. He had given $25,000 in savings to charity, abandoned his car and most of his possessions, burned all the cash in his wallet, and invented a new life for himself. Fourth months later, his decomposed body was found by a moose hunter."

I don't know if that was intended to be funny, but I laughed my ass off and marveled that the apparent selling point of the book should be so overtly anti-climactic before you even get a chance to read it.

Into the wild.
Hippie dork dies in old bus, the end.

Even our own Kiba mocks it.

All I could think of is Chris Farley "IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!"

It's a trilogy actually. Really creative modern adaptation of Frankenstein. I'd reccommend it to anyone.
