I loved the way things were back in 2004, personally. I like the place still, but I would prefer to have the members that were active in my first days back. :/

Indeed.
Dojo has the best owner it ever had. Most stable it'e ever been. No community break ups and while some good faces from back then. Now the place IMO has funnier members a more organized dojo than how chaotic it was then and immature.
Plus I have met some of the kindest people that I consider true friends with the newer crowd. TNG all the way.
TOS had the idea but TNG fleshed it out. ;-)

One thing i love though, is the total history of the Shenmue online community. I feel it wouldnt be what it is without the past playing its part.
