Funnily enough, my landline internet shat itself a few weeks back, so I tethered my laptop to my mobile using the 3G signal for internets. It was actually faster than the landline!

Sure that's what I have been doing since I got back bud. I got a £15 pay as you go sim from 3, and that gets me 3000 minutes, 3000 texts and unlimited data. So I tether my PS3, tablet and laptop to the phone and the speed us usually great.

Careful with the 'unlimited' claim, there's still a fair usage policy behind it so you could still incur costs.

Yep, gotta say I was thinking about just using it like that all the time as well. My contract has run its full 2 years in about a month, so I was thinking of downgrading to a SIM-only contract with an unlimited data bias...

SIM only always has the best deals. My latest contract has unlimited texts, 300 minutes and 750MB data for £11 a month. I never understand why people pay £35 a month over 2 years for an iPhone..

I don't even know what that is (though I have admittedly seen the name around), so I think I'll be fine. Hopefully my view on humanity will take a turn for the positive now that I'm off FB. It's slowly been killing me being on there the last year and a half or whatever. The other day I actually caught myself thinking "why the fuck does NOT ONE of my so called "FRIENDS" like any of the fucking choice rare groove joints I share on FB an almost daily fucking basis. I'm dropping gems all over you motherfuckers DON'T YOU REALIZE? Oh but some twerp who says "trust no one, people let you down" gets like 100 rassclart likes or some shit"

That is not the person I wanted to become, and that is not a universe I want to participate in.
