now I know equalizers are worse then I thought they were
the way I think an equalizer works is when you try to increase the bass sound the equalizer doesn't actually increase the bass sound it just ads its own sound to make you think the bass is louder
so this means an equalizer is a very terrible device that lies and doesn't make the sound equalized at all

Not really, at least in the digital domain.

They just ample or lower the signal in different frequencies spectrums.

Most speakers today are bullshit anyways and already color the sound a lot.

when I use the windows equalizer it only weak and less loud using the equalizer is pointless if it doesn't make the sound good also I could hear the modified sound and unmodified sound at the same time
